I'm a curious and multi-disciplinary product designer with eight years of experience bridging the gap between human and technology.
My design approach
Coming from an analytics space without any background in data, I enjoy untangling complex ideas and turning them into simple visual concepts that anyone can understand. I take pride in my ability to ask insightful questions and push for minimum viable solutions. I investigate, listen, and empathize with whom I design for to help inform better product decisions. To me, good design is creative solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
What I’ve been up to
I always knew design would be my career path because I wanted to embrace my creative but analytical mind. Currently, I design solutions to help data engineers ingest, transform, and orchestrate data natively at Snowflake. Previously, I’ve built a wide range of features in the data world, from data acquisition and preparation all the way to BI dashboards.
I'm passionate about bringing communities together by connecting people organically in a data-driven world. In 2021, I co-founded Soundwave, a short-form asynchronous social audio app that allows people to share their unfiltered daily reflections and stories with their own voice.
Personal life
Born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, I moved to the U.S at 13 to continue my studies and never left! Outside of work, I'm passionate about bringing the design community together, share ideas, and inspire young designers. In my free time, I paint, read, travel, and pet every dog I can find.
